Graphene WordPress Theme

Very few themes manage to capure my eye as much as graphene has, it’s not only simple and refined its very elegant and flows smoothly with the content. One of the biggest issues I have with a lot of themes is that the design and layout distract from the actual site and content itself but what graphene has managed to do is balance the two in perfect harmony. The header does stand out a bit but its nothing that your average wordpress user will have a problem modifying. Overall its a good and clean theme thats perfect for both casual and bro bloggers alike, the only downside is that I’ve noticed a bit of a delay in executing the javascript. To the naked eye its probably not visible but when tested on my own site via a uptime test I noticed that this theme did slow about half a second slower than the default twentyten theme. Obviously most visitors probably won’t notice this delay as it’s not significant but if your site is under a heavy traffic load it can quickly add up, especially on a shared hosting account or an environment where memory and CPU cycles are limited or shared.
